If you are staying near Shinjuku, there is a good high-end soapland right smack in the middle of kabukicho by the name of don juan. You can google the name don juan dot com (without the spaces). However, be aware that cost is not cheap: it was Y90k for 2 hours when I tried it 2 years ago. I am not sure whether prices have changed, because they hay a gaijin tax. Also, if you are a newbie going to that area, be extra careful: there are a lot a touts running scams to try and cheat you. Don't engage ANY touts when you are in kabukicho.

If you have more time, venture farther to Yoshiwara. That's like the Geylang of Tokyo, with rows of soaplands along the 4-5 lanes (I can't remember how many lanes exactly as I didn't manage to walk through all of them). They have a variety with different price ranges, from about Y30k for a quickie (1 hr 1 shot) to high-end Y90-100k). If you want to do more detailed research before you go, there is a good website called tokyo night style (add dot com without the spaces, and you will find it).

My favourite in Yoshiwara used to be Landmark, but they closed down last year... There is another one which my friend highly recommended to me by the name of Oushitu (google the website). He swore that the gals there are 2x prettier and sexier than Landmark for same cost (Y90k for 2hrs). Alas, when I went there in March this year, they were panicky and turned me away immediately... I suspect there was some VIP Japanese visitor or underworld lord (I saw 3 black Mercs parked along the roadside in front of the joint) and probably Oushitu didn't want to be seen entertaining gaijins...

I ended up at Giardino next door, which cost me Y100k. I had a bit of a scary experience there: the gal was SYT and service was excellent. It in Tokyo, Taito city. If you wanna go, I suggest you take the train to Minowa station. It's about 10mins walk from the station. Its very easy to know if you are in the soapland area.
