Any Place to Hang Out in Bahrain?
Apologies to all SB Bros that my first thread is down at the International FR site. Pls do not minus by already zero point....
Reason is because I will be posted over to Bahrain for a 6-months job starting in June and 6 month is a VERY VERY long time for a young bro like me. :o I was in a similar situation when my company sent me to Jakarta for 2 months back in 2006. Then, I was not aware of this FANTASTIC website. Plus not being fluent in Bahasa Indonesia means I had a terrible and lonely 2 month there. My poor gf had to suffer for a few days when I returned to SG... :p But THAT was in 2006. Now I had a group of senior pros to seek consultations from. :) All advices will be very much appreciated! If anyone from SBF is there from June - Dec 09, maybe we can meet up? First drink on me. :) JACKO |

Have been to Bahrain for business trip some years back. No hard feelg ... if possible , try to " keng " not and not to go there..... YOU WILL BORED TO DEATH !!!! see bay sian place. BUT .... u still can have some thai chick there....but very low quality type la:( cheers |

Actually, Bahrain is a pretty happening country, by middle east standard,
after dubai, its probably the most liberal place with all vices available, so weekends, the Saudis will come for the women and alcohol surprisingly, there are few liquor shop, so can get your booze. for fun, visit the nightclubs, ladies from Thailand and China are available for pick up, but heard very expensive, so never bother. Besides, i checked out the china ladies, all no standard one of the most happening club is call F1 near exhibition ave (their orchard rd) there are also many clubs / disco in Juffair area (which is where the US naval base is) there many clubs there many nice restaurant, including chinese ones few nice malls, but generally, quite true, very boring place but 6 months is ok, quite fast, if you want, can join the local Spore club activities, quite big community there all the best !! |

Forget F1, it is just a pick-up joint. Try Tabu at Phoenica Hotel on Mondays and Wednesdays. Gulf Air Crew nite/Ladies' Nite. Alternatively, try Z-Club/Latin Quarter at Pars Hotel in Juffair. Good on thursdays and fridays.
If you like hip-hop, then try Wranglers at Best Western Hotel in Juffair. Cocoon is for you to chill if you don't want to dance too much. There is also Aqua Fuego at Marine Tower. Go to Jashanmal bookstore to pick up Time Out Bahrain for all the listings for the month. You won't be bored after that. |

Check out Warblers in Ramee baisan or Diggers in Delmon Hotel {pickup thai and PRC, thursday night in wrblers lots of Phils] can be expensive though man ! i've lived there for last 2 years and fucked myself stupid so its available mate
