Dominant display from Utd in the EFL Cup against the hammers. Wish just one of those goals could be transferred to the league match though...

Hopefully the two goals each for Martial and Ibra restore some confidence on the ball. Good to see Mkhitaryan put in a good shift - finally seeing glimpses of his skills bearing fruit. Sublime backheel to Ibra for the opener. Now he needs to score a few.... Have always been of the opinion that Utd shld not rely on strikers - Utd are much harder to play against when the goals come from all over. Not to mention more consistent. Many of the title-winning sides - our main striker scored barely 20 a season. Goals came from wingers, midfielders - even defenders contributed. When we get over-reliant on the strikers, we go down the tubes when their form dips. Like with RVN and RVP.

Hope they carry the good form on to Merseyside this weekend.
