Kate did not reply immediately. I guess she was busy with baby. I waited anxiously for quite some time. And finally the phone lit up and buzzed. Kate replied.

After 1 or 2 minutes, Kate called Faith. I could hear Faith’s conversation but not very clearly on Kate’s. There were still people walking on the pavement, making way for bicycles. Joggers jumped onto the grass patch while over taking slow strollers. Cars with their headlamp switched on travelling at slow speed when approaching the traffic junction and there were no more laughter from the void deck.

I was really shocked by the truth. My wife is willing to share her husband with her good friend. She does not mind letting her good friend to fuck around with her husband and she sounded so casual. As if someone merely borrowing a pencil; you want it, you take it. My phone buzzed. It was a message from Kate.

It says, “Hello papa, I think u dun nid to fetch mi later. Im staying overnite here. I wan 2 spend some time wif Ah May. She’s not working tmr and shld b wif her the hoe day tmr as well. Hey, u arrange wif Faith lei. I thk she is going back our hse ok?”

This is the exact message sent to my phone with my wife’s name set as the sender and me, the recipient. Faith could not have teleported to Kate’s parents’, typed it and teleport back. She continued, “you want to stay here or go back to your place, darling?”

“I think we should go back home. She doesn’t know I’m here.”

“Roger captain. Let me change first and pack my things.” Faith jumped on her feet and started packing.

I was still a little in shock but at the same time, I was very excited with the idea of spending a night with Faith, alone.
