I'm from the U.K., but of Indian ancestry. I'll be visiting Singapore next month and plan to make a trip down to Geylang at some point during my stay.

My question is about how the girls in the Geylang chickenhouses take to foreign guys. Is it a no-go unless you speak some Chinese (I only know Japanese as a second language)? Or do the brothel keepers/receptionists speak English?
