In life, we meet different kinds of people,
Some stays around for a bit and leaves..
Others, passes by without leaving an impression..
And the rare few who appears and matters throughout one's life..

It has barely been an hour since we chatted,
Yet for some reason I missed you already..

I wonder if you are tucked snugly in bed,
I wonder if you know I am thinking of you right now..

I will be retiring for the night with my arms outstretched,
You may now come fall asleep in them..
