As for getting around in Hanoi, I would recommend the e-hailing app called "Be" which is about half the price of Grab. For most places from point A to B, the prices are around 25-35k vnd which is about the price of a xe om. I wonder how they can earn money with such low pricing.
But the app is in Vmese, for me it's not a problem.
