KTV Premium Spending

Though it might go unnoticed to the common eyes but the undercurrent sentiments have been strong. A new trend has emerged from this scene which is loosely tagged as "Premium Spending". The people who perform such feat are known as "Premium Spenders". I believe without much effort, most of the regulars here are able to identify who are those PS. However, in my opinion, "premium spending" does not exist. The reason that we are here is pure and simple, to get acquainted with people and to share out the hefty cost of cheonging. Otherwise, getting the best value out from the dollars we spent. Regardless of reasons and objectives, everyone of us are deemed as individual, differences are inevitable. But being able to enjoy the companionship of fellow brudders is already in itself, priceless... I know of people here who did find a close friend and a confidante one way or another, isn't this what it's all about?
I shall not get too sentimental here, but I would like to bring out the fact that I have really enjoyed outings with the brudders here, and I am not speaking for only myself, I hope WPP, S3, Alloy, Evo, Ham, Marji, Serlee, Anythingz, M98, Spurs, MHS and a lot more of them would agree with me, am I rite?
I will be gutted if ever because of this premium spending is going to ruin the fellowship among brudders, let us give one another the benefit of being a individual, shall we? Each of us have different priorities anyway, some might like to bet on soccer in thousands and feel the pinch when paying tenties for cheonging, some might rather cheong heavily instead and not spend on cigarettes at all. So, even within the four vices, there is a benchmark in each of us that dictates how much we are willing to forgo to get ourselves satisfied. This is only the tip of the iceberg. Personal preferences and aims will set the pace as well, if you know what I mean.
I have to apologise if I have been a bore, but I reckon it would be the best to face off with this issue and hope that we can be more forthcoming.

yes, I totally agree.

some people will bet alot on soccer, but when come to spending, they will not be as generous.... some rather spends on cheonging, and will bet only hunderds on soccer..... something like that.......

I also find a few good friends, who are mentioned in Bazic's post.

how certain people want to spend their money n life is their problem.
they want to spend $1k per week on ktv, its their money n business n we r in no position to chap.

i agree with your example. there r people who spend thousands on car hifi, for me, got sound can already.

if others r unhappy becos the ps have best service n best gers n most fun, then dont cheong with them the best.

of course if these ps spend so much to make frens with the gers n cheongsters, frankly speaking these gers n cheongsters wont be around when these ps needs money or help.

Well, Bro Bazic I have to agreed with what you had written here. If it is becasue of the word "Premium Spender" that had to seperate all the bros here into different cat than is wrong. Anyway, when we are out and end of the day when the bill is here everyone will have to pay for their share. This is a very fair deal.
Talk about heavy spender than how are we going to define what is a premium spender and what is a economy spender. In normal cases we will also have to depends on how many bros are going for the outing, if more bros than of course we will have to order more drinks and it will comes back to square one, maybe is just $100 per person or less. Of course we dont expect to just spend $40 - $50 per outing, cant even enough to cover for 1 bottle of martel for HH if only 4 bros are going.
Again, we also cannot be so calculative that some bros drink more and some bros drink less or even some bros dont drink at all. Those who are going for the outing should know themselve well enough, if we are prepare to cheong and we drink less that does not means we will pay less is still the same across the board. What is the point of being so calculative and like to cheong KTV. Than I think is better to stay back at home and relax.
I am not pointing it to amyone here but just to bring out the true thats all.
This is the fact, we cannot avoid it.
So in future there will be no such things as premium spender here. all man are equal.

well, given the disposable income of most sporeans r not that high, after paying for house, car, household, kids, savings, food etc etc, n assuming u r not cheongin on company account,

if u can cheong regularly, once or twice or thrice a week at ktv (hh or sh), even if a lot of people share, u will be out of pocket say 300 to 400 a week, n thats without bonking at all!

one month how much liao? if u still think thats ok, then u r not a regular but premium spender.

as for drinking n being calculative, personally, when i cheong, we dont care how much one person or the other drink cos we all try not to drink.

of course it will be best if bottle last long long, but if cannot, we also know its part of the deal of going to ktv.

Yes for those who think they cant go 3 times a week than go once a week or even go once a mth is still ok, no need to follow the group. Otherwise go alone spend lesser, left over drink can drink slowly

i may have gotten the gist of your message wrong.
yes there r some ordinary joe like us who choose 2 spend more than we spend on cheonging.

however there r also other types of joes who can blanjah frens to ktv regularly n they pay for drinks n mms tips, your ger tips u pay.
sometimes your gers tips they also pay. 1 week easily spend $1k.
for these people, the mms will eat their shit like its sharksfin.

anyway these people r not the ong beng seng tycoon types.
some drive normal car n stay in flat.

Is there a problem for a person who drives normal car and stay in flat to spend $1K a week in KTV? I really don't quite understand what are you trying to imply here.....

Actually those Premium Spender are those who always goes to those Top Class nite club/KTV and spend at least 1-2k per nite. those are top class spender.
