I bet to differ, I spent a good amount of time in Aus, though i wouldnt say i have alot of super close aussie friends. But generally the australians are very nice and polite. I think its just their culture and how they are brought up.

They better be polite. The entire country has a national debt so high that they can never return. Same case like USA or most of Europe. Every time when we want them to cut their social welfare and return the money, they go on riot.

I think life is better there cheap houses cars, no CPF got minimum wage and real democracy much much better than SG. Even if they are uncivilised they have much better quality of life than most sgreans

When I was much younger I used to think like you. Then one fine day, it dawn on me. Those national debt, the annual budget deficit, someone need to return it? who will it be? my kids?

So don't get me wrong. I got my PR in Australia. Still valid. I almost want to convert to citizen. Why? So that I can go unemployed and get my social welfare. If I work, I have to pay 40% TAX every month. If I don't work, I get quality of life. Why should I work?

As I understand this, my view of the world slowly change. When I have children, I start to know the world is not only about me. I am not very filial, I should have thought of it if I think about my parents. hahaha.
