Those have skills surely work pt wl in china. After factory work, work wl at night. Once know how fast money can earn in working as wl, they will rather go be wl than a factory worker. Same ambitions, wanna buy houses and money. Some have gambling bad habits and it will add up more debts.
Open a beautician biz but biz went broke. In china, once fail gao kao, u have to be entrepreneur liao then high failure rate as too competitive. Once biz broke, work as wl can earn fast money and buy houses.

Work in a massage shop. Low education and can't find a proper job so work as massage lady. Realised overseas can earn more, they would rather work in geylang liao.

I was shocked when she revealed her occupation back in PRC..... policewoman. And she is still employed when she was here in SG moonlighting as ML. Initially I did not believe her but prior to leaving she gave me her social media contact.... which showed her life story from school to policewoman..... and the posts/ photos continued after she RTC and she resumed her policing duties.

i knew someone from China back in the late 90's. he's also from police.
i was so shocked that he can come Singapore work, but still get paid from his police job.

not a WL but a ML from Crawford area. Her name is Jiajia. Not sure about her past occupation but she went back to China to become a lawyer. Super confused by her recent wechat posts where she's attending legal seminars and asking those who need legal representation to use her services.
