best to get a personal driver if you're planning multiple stops across the island.

value wise, better rent a bike and use Waze to navigate. But if you plan a day trip with multiple locations, can hire a 4 hour grab with driver.

Not those places, try Ubud and Gianyar where there are cafes and co-working spaces. These are not working gals, but visitors or staying there long term on work holidays.

Anyone here knows if in Bali there are discos like in Batam? Can recommend one?

Please, do not misunderstand my question. I mean a "disco", not a dancing club. Disco is the dark hall where hard Indo techno music is played loud, and the people come mostly from lower social classes.

Years ago, the discos in Batam were a few: Planet 1, Pacific, Planet 2 (Newton) and Planet 3 (HH Club).
Now, only Pacific (VG) and Newton are still disco in that sense. Others have evolved into something softer.

So, is there in BALI anything similar to Newton?

i use grab, quite cheap, usually grab to shopping/massage/pasar malam then grab back to hotel.

unless u plan to tour or have stop overs, no point booking.
