I am happy to walk around if around 1 to 2km...even though I am not familiar and just base on Google map can find the place...

As 1 of the bro asking for bed and table in the mp, try the lane next to Hans Inn, go in almost to the end on ur right, there is a mp room with bed , dressing table and build in shower capsule.

Me too...I hated ciggie smell esp balai...most of the hotels in balai allow smoking...

Here in Da Vienna Batam gave me a good impression of non-smoking...really breathe fresh air and I will be back...

One of the better deal over the years in Batam,hehehe...got a very very big room at around S$80 (usual price around S$125), 2 storey high kind of room. Photo taken from the 2nd floor of the "room".

...and the 2nd floor part of the room below.

And the saddest thing over my years in Batam, i stay in it alone throughout the whole night.

*i think most of my friends going to laugh at me very soon...hehehe...

Exchange rate at Harbour Bay ferry is something like 10080/SGD to 10100/SGD (20th September). At Grand Batam Mall it is 10200/SGD (21st September) while FX online says it is 10203/sgd.

No choice, its a family trip. And i am the one leading...hehehe...

Hope for a better next trip.

I tried looking for the maximo pub wanton mee in gojek app and i found it...Had ordered for my breakfast today..yesterday i head to the shop and today i order online and its as nice as eating at the shop but just that order from gojek the noodles abit dry cos maybe of the delivery...Just look for mie kampung noodles and it will show in the app for you to order...For those who cant find that place can try using gojek app to order...Its highly recommend...
