So... I swiped right to a guy on a dating app, chat w him for 2 weeks, we even spoke on the phone etc.. quite like the vibe between us... decided to meet for the first time on a Thursday night.

A LOT of anticipation on my part (that’s my mistake) like hmm.. fully shaved, nice perfume, new bra n undies, new dress... then... Boooom!

Ughhh! My heart sank... wasted ALL my effort

I think I wouldn’t be so sore about it if I had not put in the effort, but first impression is important right!? I probably sound like a ‘desperate housewife’ now but I was really looking forward man..

I kind of suspect maybe he is attached, maybe even married, prefer another female perhaps? or jus toying with me?!
Regardless of my suspicions, we are still gonna meet up next week, I am so going to seduce him and leave him hanging (provided he turns up though)

He just got cold feet. It happens and its very common, the whole all talk and no action thing. When it comes down to the deed, balls shrink and worm his way out.

Its quite pointless thinking about revenge because if he chicken out for the first time, he probably wont show.

There are not many things in this world that you cannot put on hold for a fuck.... learnt that the hard way when I was younger...

I don’t think there is such thing as a FREE fuck, in fact nothing in this world is FREE. Even as we sleep, we are paying electricity for air condition and what not.

I paid for my shaver, (it’s almost $30! Feel like mentioning it since it cost 20 times more than men’s shaver) new lingerie and new dress, not including the cab fare and make up etc nearly bought new heels btw.

And yes, I insist on paying for my own meal when I can have the freedom to order what I like, Don’t want to feel obligated to look for the cheapest set meal just cause someone else is paying for it.

To be honest, if not for the possibility of getting laid, I would have let my pub grow, Wear wireless bra, 100% cotton panty as compared to lacy uncomfortable thongs, wear tees and pants instead of dresses and not put on any make up (still would shave my armpit though, that’s for me)

I think it’s quite similar to the guy paying for room, drinks, petrol, parking if he drives... I mean you get the drift, it’s impossible to calculate everything down to fine details. Just want to point out that, regardless of gender it’s a fair game. We invest time, money and effort to get what we want. So at the end of the day, have mutual respect for one another, paid or ‘FREE’.

That's a totally valid point. Everyone has to put in effort to earn our keep, for various reasons. What is important are the motivations behind those actions, and I think yours came from a place of well meaning
