Hey bros, just a random check on how everyone is doing?

Are you guys affected by the economy?

I only started to frequent MPs this year, and I am almost always wondering whether I overspent.. it was never an expense I had before.

Still.. very happy with my regular, and also want to support her in this tough time, so..

To be honest, I was interested in listening to people from different sectors .

I'm guessing the people doing mostly okay are Teachers? Maybe medical staff as well?

my company is a local subsidiary of oversea manufacturer.. past couple of years was bad, this year still not too bad...

i received AWS+bonus of around 3 months, pay increment is a bit low at 4% but cannot complain liao as sales was not as good as those "good old days"..

if times are good, we can enjoy more, not those atas restaurant but better than Jack's Place

if times are not so good, eating out will be at Kopi Tiam zi char

so many? Population in SG is 5.5mil but citizens are around 3-3.5mil.. if you minus the kids and elderly, those who can work is around 2-3mil -ish(?)

800K is almost 1/3 of the "able to work" population... that is a lot and considering people are still flocking to condo launches and snapping up units, this is a very strange phenomenon.

i run around quite a lot in my work and see those small mix-development projects .. lots of empty shops looking for people to rent.. poor buggers kenna conned by salesmen who promise the sky,

some say economy still good but i'm getting a lot of mixed signals..

Well.. I know of one bro who reaped $50million in exchange of eating black bean rice in Changi Hotel for 3 years 8 months.

After deducting public holidays, I reckon he made phenomenally well in 2017.

Not a bad deal eh? 😆

Probably left with $25 million after paying lawyers, judges, drivers, banglas, maids etc etc ..... but still quite a good deal
