am i worried too much? just few days after my exposure i got fever, cough

went to KL and bonk a WL. wore cap for bj and fj... never lick pussy or anything...

then come back to sg 2 days later fall sick... cough and fever and flur... went to see doctor, doctor said it's normal illness...

but im still worried... today is just only 4th day... and i need to wait for another 30 days to get test done! argh....

my question is... will syntom appear so fast after exposure?

I suggest you live in a glass bubble from now on so you can cut off all contact with the outside world. Make sure only sterilised air is pumped in via a 22 stage filterering process.

Bro, don't worry so much. Don't rely on sign and symptoms. As statistic show that very few have Acute HIV symptoms. If you had wear condom for everything, then the risk of STI is minimal. If you still worry then go for a PCR HIV Test about 14 days after exposure. But the test is expensive. The antibodies test by Elisa or Rapid is still the recommended method to test for HIV.

HIV is a slow acting virus. It takes anything from 2 weeks to 1 month for the initial flu-like symptoms to show up, IF AT ALL. Many infected don't even have symptoms. IF your symptoms show up after just 2 days, it is very very very unlikely to be HIV. It is very very likely to be just a normal flu or some viral/bacteria infection.

Sometimes when you are very worried, you begin to feel symptoms that you don't really have. It's paranoia.

HIV takes up to 10 years to develop into AIDS. During that period, many people don't have any symptoms either.
